WordPress’ Weekly Photo Challenge is sun.  That’s a tough one because (a) it rains in my part of Oregon nine months out of the year and (b) any shots of direct sun usually get thrown out as being too bright and washed out.  Here are a couple shots of the sun shining over bridges and some others with shadow and implied sun.  I hope you enjoy them.

Did you ever see a 747 launch off the top of a building?  Talk about a short runway!  This retired 747 is a part of a new water slide at a the Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinnville, Oregon, USA.  Here is a video of how they got that huge plane up there.  It’s part of a water amusement park that is next to their aviation and space  museum.

I was going to do a nice writer’s blog today but I got sidetracked.  My partner, Cee, decided that she wanted to reach out to more people and get to know them, so she started a weekly “Share Your World” blog.  I thought it was such a great idea that I added comments to her blog but want to include them in mine.
